What Borgerservice actually checks
Danish biometric passport photos follow the spec published at borger.dk. Denmark uses standard 35 × 45 mm with a 30-36 mm head (chin to top of hair) and a light background. You bring the photo to Borgerservice; some municipalities can also take it there. Live spec on our Denmark passport photo page.
The numbers
- Print size: 35 × 45 mm.
- Head height: 30-36 mm from chin to top of hair.
- Resolution: our Danish file is 300 DPI.
- Background: a uniform light colour, for example light blue or light grey.
- Glasses allowed if the eyes are fully clear of the frame and the lenses are untinted with no reflections.
Where you submit it
Borgerservice: the passport counter of your municipality. Book via borger.dk and bring the printed photo.
