Romanian passport photo: taken at the counter when you apply
For a Romanian ID card, and as far as we could check the passport, the counter takes the photo. You do not bring your own, so a photo service cannot help.
The counter takes the photo
For a Romanian identity card the facial image is taken at the counter (ghișeu) when you apply, according to carteadeidentitate.gov.ro. As far as we could check, the passport service works the same way. You do not bring a photo of your own.
Foto2Pass cannot help with this one, and we do not sell a Romanian passport or ID card photo.
What to do
- Apply in person at the passport or identity card service.
- Ask the office when you are not sure whether to bring anything.
