Sweden passport photo: the police take it when you apply
For a Swedish passport or national ID card the police take your photo at the passport office. You do not bring your own, so a photo service cannot help.
The police take the photo
For a Swedish passport or national ID card you apply in person at a police passport office. The case officer takes your photo and two fingerprints there, according to polisen.se. You do not bring a photo of your own.
That also means there is no official specification for a photo you supply. Foto2Pass cannot help with this one, and we do not sell a Swedish passport or ID card photo.
What to do
- Visit a police passport office; polisen.se explains how to book.
- Your photo is taken on the spot, so you do not need one beforehand.
